(ANS – Sherbrooke, Que. – August 6, 2026) –
Under the patronage of St. John Bosco and Mary Help of Christians, the
educational Camp Bosco Bicycle cycling program based at Le Salésien in
Sherbrooke, Que. – now in its 40th year – has brought its summer season to a
close. The team of youth leaders accompanied over 200 young people through
programs designed to foster personal and Christian growth in the Salesian
spirit, including cycling routes along the lakes of Quebec, daily reflections,
and moments of shared spirituality. On Sunday, August 30, a gathering of nearly
200 former youth leaders will take place at Camp Dominic Savio to celebrate the
40th anniversary of the camp, which was founded to offer young people a summer
experience of sports, faith, and friendship in the educational style of Don
Bosco.
