(ANS - Los Angeles – Feb. 1, 2024) – The Salesian Family Youth Center at Boyle Heights in Los Angeles, under the leadership of Juan Carlos Montenegro (left in photo) and Luis Chacon (right), received the recognition of Small Business of the Year by the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. This prestigious recognition underscores the organization’s commitment to excellence and the involvement of the Boyle Heights community. The Salesian Center has long collaborated with the Chamber of Commerce, with initiatives aimed at improving the lives of less fortunate young people. This award is a recognition of their commitment and is meant to inspire other small businesses to engage actively with local nonprofits to make a positive impact in the community.
