Campamento Savio Brings Joy to Sherbrooke Youths
(ANS - Sherbrooke, Que. – August 14, 2025) – From August 4 to 8, the annual Campamento Savio welcomed 45 underprivileged children and adolescents to Aux Berges Dominique Savio on the scenic shores of Lake Memphremagog, near Sherbrooke. Guided by 6 counselors, including aspiring Salesian Cooperators Veronique from Sherbrooke and Diala from Lebanon, the camp offered days filled with joy, friendship, and learning. The Salesian community of Sherbrooke, led by Fr. Pierre Celestin, actively participated, with Fr. Alain and Fr. Georges taking on the role of cooks to support the camp’s activities. Designed to provide hope and happiness, the camp left unforgettable memories for young participants while embodying the spirit of Salesian outreach.
