Origin of Barcelona's Tibidabo Shrine
Barcelona, Spain - On July 3, 1886, the chapel of the Sacred Heart desired by (Ven.) Dorothea de Chopitea was blessed in Barcelona. Later, on the same site, the Salesians had the Expiatory and National Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus built, which today is known as the Tibidabo Shrine.
