Film on Artemides Zatti available in 4 more languages
(ANS - Buenos Aires – August 10, 2022) - “We are pleased to be able to present the film on Blessed Artemides Zatti dubbed in Italian, English, Portuguese, and French,” says the editorial team of the Salesian Bulletin of Argentina as they sent this news to the ANS editorial office, in view of the upcoming canonization of the Salesian coadjutor brother (the date has not yet been announced).
In collaboration
with the Congregation’s headquarters, Communication Department, and ANS, the
Salesian Bulletin of Argentina is now making the film’s dubbed versions in four
languages available to viewers.
The film – a production
of the Salesian Bulletin and the 2 SDB provinces of Argentina – is a
project that was produced in 2019 and whose launch took place in July 2020,
after the Salesians’ 28th General Chapter. In fact, the film was previewed at
the general chapter on March 13, 2020, at the end of the chapter.
Remarkable was the
collaboration and help of the Rector Major, who from the very beginning called
for this project. “It is an asset of the Congregation, a gift that we give to
the young, the confreres, and the Salesian Family,” Fr. Angel Fernandez declared
on that occasion. And it is worth mentioning that Misiones Salesianas, the
Salesian mission office of Madrid, also joined in the making of the project.
The dubbing project
for the film was handled by the scriptwriter and director of the work, Fr.
Ricardo Campoli, a member of the Communications Department at Salesian headquarters
in Rome, with the support of the general councilor for communications, Fr.
Gildasio Mendes, and the treasurer general, Bro. Jean Paul Muller.
Three companies did
the dubbing in different locations: Rome, for the Italian version; Los Angeles,
for the English version; and Buenos Aires, with connections to companies in
Brazil and France for the Portuguese and French versions. Several members of
the Salesian Family generously joined in revising the dubbing, including Fr.
Silvio Torres, a Salesian from the province of North Argentina; Euclides
Fernandes, delegate of communications from the province of Brazil-Campo Grande;
and Salesian Cooperator Pierre Larocque from Canada.
The film on
Artemides Zatti is available on the YouTube
channel of the Argentine Salesian Bulletin, and will also
soon be accessible through the site under construction of the soon-to-be-saint,
Artemides Zatti, and ANS.
